ANDINE CORNU JAUNE/ORANGE/15 seeds per pack

Origin unknown. Also referenced under the following names: Yellow Pepper - Yellow of the Andes. The fruit is yellow, turning orange when fully ripe, weighing 100 to 200 grams, cylindrical and elongated, often ending in a curved point. Clusters contain 3 to 5 fruits.

The flesh is thick and "dry," with little to no gel and very few seeds. Its flavor is more pronounced and sweeter than its sister variety, the Red Andine. This variety is particularly suited for making paste and purées, as well as for drying.

The plant is very large, with widely spaced internodes. It produces well in mid-season. However, it is highly susceptible to blossom end rot or apical necrosis.
