GRANDMA OLIVER’S GREEN/15 seeds per pack

An old heirloom variety dating back to the 1920s, believed to have originated in Indiana, USA. The fruits typically measure 7 to 8 cm in diameter and weigh between 200 to 450 grams, forming in clusters of 3 to 4. Resembling beefsteak tomatoes, they often exhibit misshapen, flattened shapes with lobed, rounded, or curved shoulders and pronounced ribbing throughout. The bright green color may transition to amber or nearly orange as the fruit ripens, with a deep, wide, and corky depression at the stem. Inside, the tomatoes boast green, fleshy, and juicy flesh with a refreshing flavor accented by a hint of bitterness, characteristic of "vertes" varieties.
