JARSON 18 TOMATO/15seeds per pack
JARSON 18 is a recent tomato variety resulting from the crossing of Copia x 'Malakhitovaya Shkatulka,' developed by Jarson, a Polish breeder. Currently, there are several lines under development, with initial cultivation in 2019.
This vigorous plant exhibits robust growth and abundant, regular foliage, with an indeterminate growth habit. It offers generous and consistent harvests fairly early in the season, typically around 65-70 days after planting. The variety continues to bear fruit until late autumn and demonstrates resistance to diseases.
The fruit of JARSON 18 ranges from 250 to 400 grams and is of the beefsteak type, characterized by a round, slightly flattened shape with ribbing at the top and rounded shoulders. The skin showcases a green hue with yellow spots, accompanied by a red blush, particularly at the top, and red stripes, reminiscent of the Green Copia variety.
Internally, the tomato boasts fleshy, green beef flesh with prominent red veins in the center, offering a sweet and aromatic flavor profile. It is well-suited for salads, thanks to its texture and taste, and excels in various culinary applications, including different-grade cuts and salads. Additionally, the juice extracted from these tomatoes is noted for its exceptional quality.
