Bred by Tom Wagner and introduced by Tim Peters (CV Peters Seed) in the 1980s, who named it "Lime Green Salad," unaware that Tom had already named it. These small plants produce abundant sprays of round, lime-green tomatoes that eventually ripen to an amber color. Ideal for container growing, as the plants remain compact while delivering a big harvest. The fruits weigh 3 to 5 oz., with chartreuse flesh inside, full of juice and a luscious, tangy flavor. An excellent variety for container.
