Founded by Remi Rotella out of a packet of Solar Flare tomatoes grown in 2014. This is a Open Pollinated, Regular Leaf that was named after the movie Plan 9 from outer space. 
Plan 9 From Outer Space tomatoes produce oblate, large beefsteak fruits weighing around 300 grams each. These tomatoes are golden-yellow with green stripes, which mature into golden stripes as they ripen. Inside, they boast golden-pink flesh with a fruity and sweet tomato flavor.
This indeterminate variety of tomato vines to about 200cm in height and spreads width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned and the choice of staking and support. They are resistant to major tomato diseases.
These tomatoes are flat-round and striped bicolor, appearing yellow and red when cut open. They typically grow on 1-2 trunks and are known for their very tasty, sweet, and fleshy characteristics, with each fruit weighing between 200-500 grams.
