The Wildthyme Purple tomato is an indeterminate, beefsteak variety developed by Bill Jeffers in the U.S. It produces large, 200-400g fruits with a striking purple hue and green shoulders. The flesh is multicolored, offering a rich, sweet, and full-bodied flavor. The plant is vigorous with regular foliage, yielding consistently from mid-season. A variant, Wildthyme GWR (Green When Ripe), features green-brownish fruits with pink marbling and a complex, sweet-acidic flavor.
