Originating from the interior of Oaxaca, Mexico, and said to be grown by the Oaxacan Indians. This prolific indeterminate plant with regular leaves produces large, 10-16 oz. pink-red fruits that are deeply pleated and almost triangular in shape. The fruits have a somewhat hollow interior and mild, sweet flavors, making them popular for baking, grilling, or stuffing.
